We’re Back, Baby!
I hope you missed us, but miss us no more, because we are back! After an incredibly chaotic yet productive staff retreat, and a severe snow storm that turned out to not be so severe, the doors are open once more at Glass Tangerine.
You already know that staff retreat is a time of ordering and planning for the new year. Just today we unloaded and tagged a few hundred plants, along with new perfumes and plant products perfect for Valentine’s Day. The shop looks fantastic and fresh, despite spending the better part of the day covered in cardboard shipping boxes. We even finally received 50 Venus flytraps! Emma and Aspen have been trying to get some for what seemed like an eternity, but they finally arrived just in time to celebrate V-Day. What better way to say “I love you” than than a little pot of bug-killing cuteness?
If little pot of horrors isn’t quite your Valentine’s style, we still have you covered. If you’re subscribed to our newsletter (And you should be, we work hard), then you’ll know we preordered over 3,000 stems for the big week, and over half are absolutely stunning roses! Honestly, we should have filmed the process of all of us picking the different varieties at staff retreat, it gets heated, but in a fun way. We take our work seriously. The whole shop is essentially in prep for Valentine’s Day, and it looks good on us. Be keeping an eye out for our V-Day preorder to ensure you get exactly what you need to show your people that you love them. You can always tell them, but flowers are prettier. ;)
